False Claims about the Sabbath

There are those who make false claims about the Sabbath. The illustration here is where one person made 63 claims. The scholarship was defective, out of context to the Scripture, and not understanding the meaning of the death, burial, resurrection, and establishment of the church by Christ.

As a further update:

Exodus 31:12-14 says regarding the Sabbath:

Exo 31:12  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Exo 31:13  Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Exo 31:14  Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

This is a specific matter between God and the children of Israel. This passage makes it clear that it is not a general law for all people. It is a specific identifier with a specific nation.
