Sound speech, that cannot be condemned;
– Titus 2:6-8
Is it not the world that thinks roughness of speech is an indicator of manhood? Or is it that coarse and rough of speech is an indicator of a sinful and defiled mind and not maturity and responsibility?
Sound speech is healthy speech. It indicates the wellness of the soul. It is true speech. It is speech which promotes growth. It is speech which enlarges the well being of others.
How can a man be healthful to others except his speech is comformable to fact? Ones speech needs to be in accordance with the actual state of things; as a true relation or narration; a true history.
Sound speech leads to clean thoughts. It builds into the lives of others. It knows how to choose healthful words. It is responsible in character. It promotes innocence and responsibility. It is not inclined to generate reproach in the minds of others.
Sound speech is characterized by civility. Civility is a character trait which is greatly lacking in today’s world. It is distinguished from the rudeness of the barbarous. Webster – Good breeding; politeness; complaisance; courtesy; decorum of behavior in the treatment of others, accompanied with kind offices, and attention to their wants and desires. Civility respects manners or external deportment, and in the plural, civilities denote acts of politeness.

Sincerity is a term which divides out the pretenders from the true. As one’s salvation is unto eternal life by a new birth into the family of God. The character of that new life would necessarily reflect a consistent and continuing nature. A new baby is not a child one day and then not one the next.
Sincerity speaks of an unending existence. It also speaks of an incorruptibility of nature. The life of a sincere man does not decay away. Figuratively, sincerity has to do with genuineness. A Christian man is a genuine man, not a wolf in sheep clothing.

When the true, the pure, the real basics of Christianity are destroyed, how can one expect it to survive? Truth is either truth or it is nothing at all. That is the way Christianity is being treated, as nothingness and worthless. Destroy the foundations and the structure becomes useless.
The following link describes the issues at hand. Except there be some who will read and understand what is written, there will be none to distinguish and remind others of the true.

It would have to depend upon whether it is based upon reliable data, data which is properly organized about reliable presumptions, and whether it is provable by repeated testing, whether it is possible to prove it wrong, and whether there are contradictory conclusions which can be accounted for.
Knowledge is something which is knowable. It must be able to stand the test of time. In fact true knowledge is incontestable in the end.
We have been using radio active decay principles to date many of our artifacts. At first it seemed to be the basis for knowledge. But as more consideration has been made of its reliability, this method is failing a great many tests of ‘at least’ the application of its use without considering some serious variables.
Consider this link which brings serious doubt on one area of reliability and application. http://www.icr.org/article/5656/
