Kayra Montañez
Kayra Montanez serves as the Pastor of Campuses of Liquid Church, named one of America’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Churches by Outreach magazine (2018-2023). Since launching in 2007, Liquid has experienced rapid growth and thousands of changed lives across the Northeast. Currently, Liquid Church has grown to 7 locations around New Jersey with 5,200 people in attendance and more than 3,000 baptisms to date. Kayra serves as the Pastor of Campuses - overseeing Liquid’s 7 Campuses and its Campus Pastors. She’s also a part of Liquid’s Teaching Team, known for creatively communicating the Bible with cultural insight, heart, and humor. Kayra has served at every level in ministry during her decade of ministry at Liquid. She started as a volunteer, led Liquid’s largest & Broadcast Location as the Campus Pastor for four years, and is now on the Senior Leadership Team as Pastor of Campuses. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Kayra is originally from Puerto Rico, where she worked as a Labor & Employment Attorney for 10 years. She and her husband Jose enjoy life with their two children in northern New Jersey.
