Mike Lee
Mike serves as the Pastor of Campuses at Liquid Church in New Jersey (Yes, there are Christians in NJ!). Liquid Church has been recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Churches by Outreach magazine from 2018 to 2023. Since its launch in 2007, Liquid has experienced rapid growth, impacting thousands of lives across the Northeast. Today, the church has expanded to seven locations throughout New Jersey, with an average weekly attendance of 5,200 and over 3,000 baptisms to date. Mike has served at every level of ministry during his time at Liquid. He began as a volunteer, eventually transitioning to full-time ministry on the central Discipleship team, and is now part of the Senior Leadership Team as the Pastor of Campuses. Liquid is dedicated to reaching the people of New Jersey with a vision to saturate the state with the Gospel of Jesus Christ while also coaching, mentoring, and equipping others to pursue their calling with joy and fulfillment. Mike is passionate about helping people develop their leadership skills, especially in the area of emotional health. Emotionally Healthy Discipleship by Pete and Geri Scazzero was a transformational resource for him during his transition into full-time ministry, and he has since championed its principles within Liquid’s staff and congregation. A graduate of Columbia University, Mike enjoyed a 20-year career in the marketplace, working across various industries, with the last 10 years in personal care and cosmetics. During the pandemic, he felt a growing burden to help Liquid deepen its discipleship efforts and answered the call to join full-time ministry. He resonated with the words spoken to Samuel: “People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). Mike and his wife, Becky, have been married for 18 years and have three amazing children. Together, they are affectionately known as the Familee.
