Suzi Soares serves as the Central Strategy Pastor at Mariners Church in Southern California, a vibrant, Christ-centered community committed to seeing lives transformed by the gospel. In the past three years, Mariners Church has experienced God’s abundant favor, growing from 7,000 to over 21,000 attendees across all locations. Through the multiplication of physical congregations, innovative “Mariners Hosted Here” gatherings, and a growing global reach online, the church has seen a remarkable 68% increase in engagement, a testament to the Lord's power at work. Suzi leads with a Kingdom-first mindset, overseeing strategic initiatives that align God-given vision with Spirit-led execution across all Mariners congregations. With a deep calling to see healthy, multiplying churches flourish, Suzi brings seasoned leadership from her time launching and developing campuses in two dynamic multi-site megachurches; Liquid Church on the East Coast and Mariners Church on the West Coast. Throughout her ministry, Suzi has been a faithful builder in the house of God, designing systems that promote both spiritual formation and organizational health. Known for her rare blend of strategic clarity and a shepherd’s heart, she thrives at the intersection of vision, discipleship, and operational faithfulness, always keeping the mission of Jesus at the center. Suzi’s passion flows from a deep well of personal calling. As a mother to a young adult with autism and epilepsy, she lives out Proverbs 31:8—"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves"—and carries a holy burden to make space at the King’s table for all. Whether she’s developing leaders, championing inclusion, or advancing the gospel through innovative ministry models, Suzi’s life is marked by obedience, humility, and a relentless hope in Christ. When not serving in ministry, Suzi finds joy in time with her beloved husband, their three adult children, and her faithful dog, Lucy. Every part of her journey reflects her desire to see every tribe, tongue, and nation encounter the life-changing love of Jesus.
